Premium-family

Solved!

Premium-family

If I’ve just paid my monthly bill for Spotify premium can I pay the difference to upgrade to a family or do I have to pay the full $17 something?

It won't make your next bill cheaper, but it will put your renewal date to the future 🙂

So for example, if you upgrade to Premium for Family today (Oct 15), you won't be charged on Nov 15, but on Dec 5 instead.

Note that the example above may not state correct dates, but it does explain how it converts remaining Premium time into Premium for Family time.

Hey @Sarah771,

When upgrading from Premium to Premium for Family, you have to pay the full price, but the good thing is that any remaining Premium time will be converted into Premium for Family time, so you're not really losing any money. 🙂

But I just paid for the whole month yesterday, and if I pay the full price
for a month of family premium I am losing money, I’m losing a whole month
subscription for individual?

The remaining time of the subscription for individuals will be converted into time for Premium for Family.

I’m still unsure as to what that means, does that make my next bill cheaper
because one individual will have 2 months of premium already paid for?
