Premium for family... invite issues

Hi there. 

I am the owner of a family for spotify account and want to link other members of my family to the account as it is intended to be used. 

I find I am not able to do this and cannot find the answers in any of the instructions in this website or forum. 

I have followed the instructions and when it says to click on the option to invite guests in the menu on the left hand side, the is no menu on the left hand side only the option bar across the top. Even in this option bar there is no option to select send an invite. I am using a samsung s9+.

Help me please?
