Setting up a new family member is the worst experience ever designed

**bleep**. I love spotify and have been a member for years and years. But setting up a new family member is confusing, awful, onerous, and in this day and age - absolutely pathetic. I'm a systems analyst for a healthcare system, with an MBA and 30 years of computer experience - but **bleep** - please god find some decent programmers! Holy **bleep** guys...Really. And you can't change your 'username'? Is this 1990? What in the **bleep**?

I couldnt agree more. It is pathetic. And zero help from spotify - no way of acually contacting anyone.

 

All I have is 600 - Oops something went wrong, please try again - repatedly   -  no indication of what has gone wrong or how to fix it. Could some one from Spotify please reply and sort this out. All I'm trying to do is add a member to the family account fgs!!

I finally got them added, but it is a mind numbingly confusing process. I wish I could tell you how it happened but basically you have to stumble around and hope you eventually find the right stuff. I think I logged on from the email that got sent to them and that eventually set it up. Of course now their user name is something like 'dk3556kfd93224329d9323wjfi' - NOT KIDDING! AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT! This is so bad a process that's its laughable. What a joke. Who the **bleep** do they hire as programmers there?
