Spotify Family owner - country change - any impact?

Dear all,

I'm a Spotify Family subscription owner and I will be travelling in the next few weeks across several countries, I was wondering if I could change my country in the settings whilie in those countries so I could access the local catalogue and if I change does it impacts my Family Subscription in any way?

Hey @hmgr,

You'll only be able to change your country setting to the country you're currently in if you have a payment method (e.g. Credit Card) that's been issued in that country.

If you don't have this, then you won't be able to update your country setting.

Lastly, the content availability difference is not as big as you think it is 🙂

There are specific playlists per country...as I understand...like the Top musics... if I'm abroad will I have access to the Top music lists in those countries?

All playlists are available in every market 🙂 You can just visit the official Spotify profile of the country you're in to listen to their playlists.

You won't be able to get their local recommendations though, as your country setting is set to the country where you actually live.
