My Question or Issue

I have setup a managed account (under 13 years old) in our family plan. But this new account doesn't seem to be able to connect to our living room speakers using Spotify connect.

 

I tried logging in myself on the Spotify app on their tablet and I can see and use the speakers fine using my Spotify account. Logging out and logging in again as the new account and the device is not visible again.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

 

Spotify Connect is currently not supported on managed accounts, however, you should still be able to connect to the speakers using Bluetooth.

I understand, but this is frankly not a solution and makes very little
sense. The underage managed accounts are pretty much useless for us without
this function.
