Trying to to update to new card

My Question or Issue

 I have been on premium for some years now, and har quite happy! But now my old visa card got outdated, and i therefore got a new one. 
I got on my profile to update my account to the new card, but it is not working. I have money on the card, i have followed every advise given and even called my bank. Nothing is working. Do you guys have any helpful advise to a lost soul?

I have tried several different computers with different browser. I've also tried using my phone. Nothing is working.

Hey @jonrovik Sorry for the late response

By any chance were you previously on the Student Discount? If so it could be that Spotify might think you are trying to reverify your account. If that is the case, i would recommend canceling your Premium and then reapply. That way it will ask for your payment info again.

I haven’t been on student discount. 

At first i tried to update to the new card while I had premium, that didn’t work. Therefore I followed the advise to cancel my premium and try again. 

But that didn’t work, so now I have a free membership. The irony is that I have to listen to the ads telling me how wonderful it is to have premium..

Hey @jonrovik 

Since all of the troubleshooting tips haven't been able to solve your problem, the last resort is to contact Spotify. Go to this Spotify Support Page and fill out the necessary forms and you should recieve and email within 48hours.
