Unable to add child to Premium for Family account

I am trying to add my 8 year old son to my Premium for Family account. WHen I first tried to do this, I had to lie about his age. Simple enough, even though I shouldn't have to do that for a "family" account.

I created an email address for him and I click the invite in his email, I go through the registration page and when it comes to the end, I end up with an error that says it can't verify the home address for his account.

Please, find a way around this for me. My son wants to listen to terrible music and I don't want his terrible music all over my Spotify.
