My Question or Issue

My wife and I (let's just use Jane and Bob) have our own unique Amazon profiles under the same household (Bob invited Jane to the Amazon household and Jane accepted) and we each have our own unique Spotify logins under a Premium Family plan.  The Spotify skill is linked to our own unique Spotify login under each of our unique Amazon household profiles.

When we are using the Spotify app, only one of us at a time can see the Amazon speaker list or group.  If Bob currently can't see the speakers and unlinks the Spotify skill and relink it to that his unique Spotify Family account, he can now see the full device list in the Spotify app and Jane's now cannot.

My expectation for an optimal setup is that if you have 2 or more unique Amazon household profiles and unique logins under the same Spotify Premium Family account, anyone in the household should be able to see the same speaker list.  This works in the Google Home ecosystem... is there something I'm missing?

Hey there @12135361603,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community. We're happy to shed some light on the situation.

When your Spotify account is connected to the Amazon account, you will be able to see the list with the devices. The same account can control the music with voice commands within the Amazon account.

If you want to switch the accounts, you can open the settings in the Echo app and unlink your account. Then your wife can connect her account to the Amazon account. That way the list should appear on her account.

Alternatively you can use Connect in order to play music through Amazon Echo. You can check these steps on how to do it.

You can also have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and create an idea. That way more users can support it. Rest assured that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.

Hope this was helpful for you. If you have questions, we are here for you.
