We have 2 accounts, but can't play simultaneously

Solved!

We have 2 accounts, but can't play simultaneously

I have premium family and I sent the invite so my husband can sign up under his OWN account name.  When he plays spotify on his android phone (under his account) on our sonos speaker, and I am down the street at a park with my iphone and spotify, using a downloaded podcast to my phone, it won't play if he is playing!  I will play mine, and it will stop his and vice versa.  Very frustrating.  All the posts say we need to have separate accounts and we do!  We are not logged in to the same account.  Please help.

Hey there @Qtjen!

Thanks for reaching out to us about this.

You mention that you have a Sonos speaker and it sounds like it is only connected to your account and this is why your music is interrupted when your husband uses it.

He will need to link his account to the device as well to be able to avoid that. Take a look at this page to see how to do that.

Hope this info helps. We'll be here if you have any other questions.
