My Question or Issue

1: Why did Spotify change my home address? during verification I found out (too late) that my address is without a number all of a sudden.

2: Why is my Sonos account that needed address verification but failed and locked out not in my Family anymore? It is literally my second account to make sure I can have my Sonos on while listening on my mobile devices...

3: Why am I not able to add this account again?

4: Why am I not able to log a complaint anywhere?

5: Where do I go for a refund?

6: Who is your biggest competitor?

7: Why am I writing this for 3rd time as it seems your website is broken?

Hey @dubidee, thanks for coming to the Community for help!

Let's dive right into this. Spotify Premium for Family requires all members to live at the same address. When setting up Spotify Premium for Family, the plan owner and members enter the address they live at. They can then choose the right address details from the list; this might not be the full exact address but could be an approximate location, if not all details are available about the location.

Spotify sometimes verifies the addresses are still accurate and sends out an email to both the plan owner and the member that needs to reverify. If Spotify couldn't confirm that you live at the same address, the member will be removed from the plan. There's more information about that here: https://support.spotify.com/article/address-and-verification-for-family-plan/.

If you believe this is a mistake, you can reach out to the folks over at Spotify with the details on this page. They might be able to take a closer look at what's happening.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Have a good one,

Hubo
