With the new changes to the family subscription, SPotify is discriminating against split families

With the new changes to the family subscription, SPotify is discriminating against split families

My children's father and I are divorced.

I pay for the 3 of them to be on my family spotify account but with the new changes, I am concerned that this will be curtailed as they are not at my adresss all the time (I am a shift worker so they are with their dad 60% of the time).

He does not have a spotify account and I cannot afford to pay for 4 susbscriptions.

It seems that non- typical families are being discriminated against - is it me?

My kids LOVE spotify, I'll be gutted if I have to cancel the family susbscription for them 😞

Hey @janey57 ,

Welcome to the Community!

In order to join a Family Plan, all members must be living in the same address, but split custody is an exception to this rule.

You should put your address in your children's account and add them to your Family Plan.

Have a great day! 🙂
