Won't let my kids join family plan

I have two kids with their own gmail addresses, but mine is the umbrella email account. When they try to accept the invite it says they're already on a family plan and can't join. Does anyone know what I should do?

Check your own admin account to see if they were added successfully: 

https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/ - if so, they can just login tot heir account and start using premium
