administrator role

administrator role

I currently have the administator role in our premium family account. I want to pass the administrator role to my wife. How do I do that?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

Unfortunately, at the moment there isnโ€™t a way to change the plan manager of a Premium Family plan.

 

However, you can cancel the plan, and then your wife can start a new Premium Family plan as the plan manager.

 

No worries, changing subscription plans wonโ€™t cause anyone to lose their playlists or saved music, and everyone can keep their same Spotify accounts.

 

As the plan manager of the current Premium Family plan, you can cancel the existing plan by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Select Manage your subscription, and then click Cancel subscription
  3. Continue through to the confirmation message

At your next billing date (which you can view on your account page), the accounts of each member of the Premium Family plan will switch to the free service. At that time, your wife can start a new Premium Family plan here as its plan manager, and then invite the other members by following these steps.

 

Bear in mind that to accept the invites, members must live at the same address as the plan manager. Also note that members can only switch between different Premium Family or Premium Duo plans once in 12 months.

My son startet the subscription and I took the payment over but I neither can see the invoices nore change the member or the payment method.
