Deleting old account and no premium

I wanted to delete my old account and use my new one and get the student discount. My old account has been deactivated, but it's telling me my name information is tied to that old account still. 

Is this because the account was not deleted or because the student prices last for 12 months?

This is because registering with SheerID verifies you for one year, so until the end of that year you have to regive your credentials. 

The guys over at SpotifyCares may be able to do something about this. You should try contacting SpotifyCares through either of these:

• Through Facebook: SpotifyCares
• Or lastly through Twitter @SpotifyCares

Tell them what's going on and your username and they'll solve it! 🙂
