Error message when applying for spotify student discount

My Question or Issue

When I try to apply for the spotify student I get an error message back.  I am a college student and my college email is attached to my account. My college is on the approved dropdown list and I ave entered all my personal information in correctly. Why does it give me an error saying "Something went wrong" even when I try it repeatedly? I am really frustrated at this point.

Just to confirm, does this error message occur when you're trying to renew your discount from this page? 

If so, it'd be helpful if you could share a screenshot of the error message you see so we can take a closer look. Just make sure that there's no sensitive or private info displayed.
