I come from EU, but I am going to study in US. - How to pay?

Hi!

I am just trying to start my subscription again, however, I was thinking about I will use student discount, as I am going to study in the US. (School starts in 10 days)

My Spotify account was originally made in the Czech Republic, but the subscription system will not let me select the country where I am going to study. (USA)

Is there any way how could I use the discount and pay the bill with my CZ issued card?

(PLAN B: I could also change my country to the USA, and use my US issued card, but I hoped to focus all this kind of payments and subscriptions on my main account.)

Hey @Platecek,

If you’re enrolled with an institution that’s eligible with Spotify’s student discount, you can take advantage even if you’re abroad. 

However, your account’s country settings need to match the country of your university, and your payment method needs to have also been issued in this same country. This means that you will have to use the credit card that's been issued in the US.

Note: You will only be able to select United States in your country setting when you're there. You can't select it in CZ. 🙂
