I paid for student discount premium subscription but it is still saying I am on free

I paid for student discount premium subscription but it is still saying I am on free

please help. 

 

I know it is definitely the right account and the money has come out of my account but when i go to my spotify app it is exactly the same as before and says 'FREE' in the subscription section. I also did not receive any email confirmation or receipt.

Hey @hayley7 and welcome to the community! 

 

Were you successfully verified for a student discount?

 

A temporary charge goes through even if the student verification was successful or not. But it is only temporary charge on your credit card and they should disappear in a few days. 

 

The only charge that you actually have to pay for is if you were successfully verified for the student discount.

 

The whole upgrade should be done within few days.
