Is it possible to refund this month's payment and pay again, but as a stude

Is it possible to refund this month's payment and pay again, but as a stude

Hello!
Unfortunately I didn't receive the notification that my spotify account needs to be upgraded to student status.
This month's payment was made as an individual premium.
Is it possible to refund this month's payment and pay again, but as a student?

I have the same issue. The fact that Spotify doesn’t have an actual employee we can talk to is concerning.

Hey folks,

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

You should have received an email with instructions on how to renew and re-verify your eligibility with SheerID a month before it expired. If you can't find it, we suggest that you check the Junk folder. Also, keep in mind that you can also renew it from your account page.

On another note, you can learn more about our refund policy here

Hope this helps. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

My Question or Issue

I am currently on the Spotify Premium plan, which costs ₹119 per month, and have already paid for this month with a next billing date of 1-Dec-2024. After verifying my student status, my plan updated to the Student Premium plan at ₹59/month, but the billing date remains the same. If I pay ₹59 for this month, will the ₹119 I previously paid be refunded?
