My Question or Issue
I want to change my premium individual plan to Student plan since I am a student. But when I go into account settings and try to change the plan by going into "Manage Plan" and click "Get Discount" under 'Get Student Premium', it goes back to account page without nothing happening. I just tried doing again after canceling my current plan, but it didn't solve the problem.

Make sure you're following the steps from this article when trying to apply the discount to your account.
If your discount is already verified via SheerID, you have probably received an email with a link to apply it to your account and switch your subscription to Premium Student.
In case the link there has expired or you haven't received a confirmation email, you can contact SheerID to get a new one!
Note: A Student discount can only be applied for a maximum of four years in total and has to be renewed once every year.

Hi, I'm having the same problem but, none of the solutions here are working. I've received a new email but, when I click "Get Discount" I am redirected to the Home page again. This is true under incognito browsers as well.

Just to confirm, have you checked if you're logged in to your account while clicking on "Get discount"?
If so, we suggest that you try again while using a different device and a different internet connection.

Check if the student discount has already been applied by logging in on your account page. If it is, all that's left is to simply change the plan to Premium Student. You can also do that at https://spotify.com/student/.
In case the student discount still hasn't been applied yet, I'd recommend requesting a new confirmation email from SheerID here.

What happens if you try to go to this link and select Get Started? Are you prompted to verify you're a Student again? Or enter your payment details to subscribe? If you see the option to enter your payment details that means you already activated the discount and don't need any other confirmation or link. You can simply subscribe and start enjoying.

I'm having the same problem! No matter what I do I always end up back on my account page. Even if I try to open up the SheerID link in a new tab, in an incognito tab, on a different wifi server, etc., it just won't let me open it, and I end up back on my account page. I've had the student discount for 2 years now and want to renew it again for this year.

Just to confirm, are you able to active the discount directly from the Student page? If possible, you can also give a different device a shot, and open the Student page from there.
If that doesn't do the trick, feel free to let us know if you're seeing any error messages. You can send us a screenshot of it, just make sure it doesn't include any personal info.
