Renew student discount

Since most people don't stay in school for only a year, I'm wondering why there isn't a "renew" option. The only options available are to re-sign up for the student discount. It also doesn't save my current credit card information to complete said re-submission. (I am signed in to the online site when doing this, credit card should remain the same-it has nothing to do with any sort of Google information and password cache) please fix this.
