Requesting my college gets added to SheerID

Hello  when requesting that SheerID adds my college to their list to get my student discount, it tells me that my colleges url is invalid?

I can only assume it's because the url ends in .ac.uk, like a lot of college websites do in Britain.

Is there anyway to fix this? My student discount needs renewing and I can't afford to pay for normal premium. Thank you.
