Spotify Lyrics not showing on anything but PC

My Question or Issue

I'm using a Spotify Premium Student plan and I am not able to use the new Lyrics feature on any device but my PC, which is especialy annoying on my Android phone.

I tried the following:

Clean reinstalling

Deleting all data and cache

Logging out of & back into my account

I tried another account on the device to see if the lyrics would appear there and they did.

Creating a fully new account is not an option for me and should not be an option anyways. I just got charged for my Spotify account and I've been using it for over 10 years. This has to be fixed BY Spotify, please.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Spotify is aware that there are some issues with individual accounts that still don't see lyrics, especially on mobile devices. The right folks have been working on a solution, but it will require some account modifications.

I recommend that you reach out to Spotify's support team here. Have your login email and device info at the ready and the team should be able to get this resolved in a couple of working days after they record your case 🙂
