Spotify charging me twice for student premium on new account for no reason?

So i was just looking at the different premium options. i entered my card info, but was told i needed to verify my student ID, they also wrote 'dont worry, your card wont be charged'. Well, i wasn't able to verify my student ID so i closed the page, thinking i would just deal with it later. But i just saw that spotify charged me twice, but even when i log on to my account, it still says i'm a regular user? is there a way for me to get my money back? im a bit desperate since my account might get closed down soon since there's no money left on it because of this...

If there's any charges on your statement showing as ‘pending’ or 'processing', this means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken. Once your student I.D is verified, the charge will go trough. If we're unable to verify, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank.
