Student Discount issue for international students

I am Italian and my account says that I live in Italy. I wanted to upgrade my subscription with the Student Discount since I study in the US, but when I go to SheerID I can't find the US in the country list. Is it because I'm not tecnically american and how do I solve it?

Let's try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, using an incognito window, or a different browser to update the country and get the discount.

If that doesn't do the trick, make sure the internet connection you're using isn't behind a VPN or proxy, since this could interfere with the process.
