Student discount - New account

Hi all,

I was granted student discount using an e-mail I didn't have an account with. I created a new account using that e-mail address but I still have Spotify Free.

Should I wait a bit longer for the Premium activation or is this an usual problem?

Can you please explain the problem in more detail? In order to apply for the student discount you have to be logged into a Spotify account. Did you apply for the student disocunt while signed into a different Spotify account?

When you sign up for the student discount it goes on the Spotify account you are signed into.

You can check the status to see which account got the student discount on the account page: https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

If you want the student discount on the new account you made, you will need to cancel your student subscription on the other account and then reapply for the student discount while logged into the correct account.
