Student discount as a foreign student

Dear Spotify community I need your help! I am a German student living and studying full-time in the Netherlands and today I finally wanted to get Spotify premium. However, Spotify German does not recognize me as a student as the name of my university cannot be found within the German system - which makes sense! Thus, I switched to the Dutch version, entered all required information, including my credit card information (Credit card is the only payment function given!). As it turns out, the system does not accept a German credit card to pay for a Dutch account. End of the story: neither way I am, a student who is entitled to benefit from student discounts, NOT able to use Spotify for the reduced price. Again, as I am a student paying 9,99€/month instead of 4,99€ is not really an option and does not speak for Spotify ....
Please help me :-)!!

Hey @m71093,

If you’re enrolled with an institution that’s eligible with Spotify's student discount, you can take advantage even if you’re abroad.

However, your account’s country settings need to match the country of your university, and your payment method needs to have also been issued in this same country.
