Student discount different name

So my question is about student discount, my brother is a university student and we've shared an account, its under my name, so I'm wondering if we'd need to create a new account in his name in order to get the student discount or am i able to change the name on my account to his?

Student discounts need to be verified with the student that is currently enrolled. The verification is done through SheerID and lasts for one full year before it has to be verified again. There is a full support page for the student plan located here if you have more questions.
