Student premium account not activating

Hi, i signed up for student premium yesterday at about 2pm and nothing, no sort of confirmation has gone through yet. Is this normal? Shouldn't i get an email either way (saying that it's been activated or not)?

Same with me, it's been a week, spotify took my money but not giving me premium and since they have no actual support page I'm stuck. I want my premium or my money back or I will chase this with legal authorities...
