Hey @Kp42

I would suggest you to check on the subscription status

Log into your account on the Spotify website or app.

Go to your account overview (on the web, click your profile icon > Account; on the app, go to Settings > Account).

Check under the "Your Plan" or "Subscription" section to confirm your Premium Student subscription is active if not make sure that payment has gone through.

Additionally you can try logging out and logging in to refresh sync.

I got student premium, it was going to expire in April this year, today is jan 5 2025 and suddenly my premium stopped working

Hey, @Kst29,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

This might happen if you've had one or more failed payments or chargebacks from your bank or payment provider in the past. In these cases, the last successful payment is partly used to cover the time you enjoyed Spotify Premium without actually paying.

You can also check out this support article for more info about failed payments.

Hope this clears things up. Take care.
