My Question or Issue

So I got in contact with Hulu support and they suggested I contact Spotify about this issue so I figured I'd try here before attempting actual Spotify support. I've had my Premium Student account roughly since August '23. I was able to use my included Hulu when I went through the initial linking process, for the last 2-3months I have been unable to access my Hulu since it asks for me to re-subscribe to a different plan. I'm not really sure what the issue is since my Spotify account says Hulu is still connected (they are also linked under the same email address). It seems someone else had a similar issue a few years back. Should I just remove access and relink? If so, what are the steps for the relinking process?

Hi there @LateFilms,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Relinking Hulu would definitely be good to try in this case. You can find the steps and info for Hulu and Spotify here. When doing so, make sure you're using the correct accounts on both sides to avoid any conflicts or confusion.

I haven’t changed my plan or anything. It just kicked me out of Hulu. I’ve had premium with Hulu for years. What’s going on?

Hi Joan, I have another question. It says my accounts are linked through a link provided in another post. But it still shows on hulu that it is going to charge my card every month. I called hulu and spent 40 minutes on the phone with them and they told me to reach out to spotify. Any thoughts on this? I don't want to pay for hulu every month as I do not have the money for both services. I am wondering if it will automatically defer to spotify each month?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

In this type of case, we'd first recommend giving a try to the link of "your services" mentioned in this article.

 

If it doesn't work, we'd also recommend checking if the Hulu account you've linked to is the correct one. If you're unsure about this, you can cancel your current subscription, wait until your account reverts to free and enroll to the bundle again making sure you're selecting the option to link an existing account during the signup process.

My account says I have premium with hulu currently. When I try to log into Hulu it says I don't have an active account.
