got SheerID verification mail, doesn't work on Spotify

My Question or Issue

Hello,

i wanted to switch from Spotify free to premium for students. After filling in the form from SheerID, i got the confirmation mail, that i am eligible for Spotify premium for students.

But after klicking the link in the mail, Spotify tells me they can't verify that i'm a student.

Tried the verification form again, but it tells me, i already used my discount. Also opened the link from the verification mail in incognito mode (read that in another forum post).

Could the problem be, that i'm using the free account, not the premium one?

We can see that you already went through some good troubleshooting. If you're still having difficulties verifying your student status with SheerID, we suggest you get in touch with their support teams so that they can check your status again.

There shouldn't be any issues applying the discount to a Free account. For full info on Premium Student you can visit this support page.
