student discount with no hulu

Can I just pay for the student discount for $5, with out hulu? My family already pays for hulu w/o commercials and we dont want to have to change to limited, and I will also put no use to the hulu account that is offered with the discount. help????

To answer you question, yes you can just pay the $5 for the Student Premium without using Hulu or even creating a new account for Hulu. Several months after hearing that Spotify will include Hulu in the Student discount, i never signed up for Hulu or linked my account. Until recently so its safe to say that you dont have to worry about using Hulu and being worried that your Student discount will discontinue. However, if you do chose to use Hulu you can activate it in your Account Information page.
