Share with us how it was, whether your area celebrated it, had a fireworks and big celebrations?I've just celebrated it in Hong Kong (GMT+8) with @j04 and there was an awesome light show but sadly had to watch on TV. Fireworks were cancelled this year... 😢 

Hope they are back and runnin' again next year!

Happy New Year!

I stayed home with my family, just made loads of food (too much for us to eat....) and then while others watched the compulsory TV programme, I hung out with our pet pigeon and watched live shows for a variety of artists. I find that estonian TV tries too hard at making jokes and puns, it comes off as either cringy or just flat more than anything else. So yeah, nah. 🙂
We didn't do fireworks ourselves, but neigbours most certainly did. Prepared to make it as stress free as possible, i drew the curtains and had the Snib listen to a Two Fingers set at a higher volume.

Neighbors nearby had their battery fall over and do a very intimate lightshow in the garden..
Also, one of the rich dudes living on the coast had MASSIVE rockets that spread absurdly wide, like, easily hundreds of meters, and sounded like cannons. I don't know what kind they were, but jesus.

All the animals made it through the night and so did I. : )

@Sebasty, that's really amazing! Although the light show and fireworks were loud, you must have enjoyed yourself!

Yes, time is flying, but at least I don't have to work... So I have much more flying time than other people.

I walked away from my job in 2021 and never looked back.

I don't hate working, but it's time to live for a bit the life we all hope living for.
