Internship application: Same application for different locations?

So I have applied to several of Spotify's ML engineering internships on various locations, both EU and US. I received a mail with updates on a ML summer internship early December but it did not specify which one? I'm currently in Sweden and the mail was delivered 3:00 am, so I assume it was from the US. But my friends who only applied here in Sweden got updates last week (all at the same time) but I haven't heard anything. 

Should I assume that the first email I got was for all the ML positions or will I hear back from the one in Sweden separately?
