My Question or Issue
I’ve got two apps that have existed for many years in extended quota mode which no longer appear in my Developer dashboard. I’m not sure why this is, and that worries me. The apps are still functioning, but I have no way to change the configuration of them.
I’d rather not paste things like client IDs here but can’t find any way to contact developer support outside of here. Can someone please reach out to me?
It sounds like a concerning issue, and I understand your frustration. To address this, could you confirm that you're logged into your Developer Dashboard using the same account you originally used to create these apps? Apps do not appear if you're logged in with a different account, even if they continue to function properly.
Let me know if you need further guidance on this!
Hi @Ximzend,
Thanks for replying so quickly! I’ve confirmed that I’m logged in with the correct Spotify account — the same account that I’ve been using throughout all those years and used to create the developer apps.
What’s the next step for figuring out what’s gone wrong?
Then I recommend you to contact (regular) Spotify Support directly through this page.
I hope they can help you.
Hi @Ximzend,
I’ve talked with the regular support team 2-3 times now and they just keep pointing me here. It goes in circles. How can I get this issue resolved? Is there a developer support team that can reach out to me to work through this issue?
I have escalated the issue to Spotify employee since your last message.
Unfortunately, it may take longer for them to respond.
I'll update you when I have more information.
Cheers,
Hey @nathancoleman can you send me a DM with your Client ID's please and I'll pass it on to the team.
Hi there! Done.
Ximzend,
It has been 2 weeks since I last heard from anyone. Are you able to escalate to the team? I am still unable to access my own developer applications.
@nathancoleman I've replied to your DM
