My Question or Issue

Hello,

I can access any playlist using the Spotify API's playlist endpoint, but for some reason, I can't access the "Top 50 Global" playlist. When I try to retrieve its data, the API returns a 404 "Resource not found" error, even though other playlists work perfectly fine.

Anyone know's why?

That playlist is owned by Spotify, and obtaining playlists of that type is no longer possible due to changes introduced to the Web API on November 27, 2024. You can find more details on this page.

Thankyou, at the end, what I did was clone the playlist into my account, and with that, I can now access the data.
