Embedded player requires 3 clicks to play

My Question or Issue

I have an embedded player in my app which (as of a couple months ago?) used to play the track straight away when the Play button was clicked. Now I am noticing that the track loads as a Preview. When I click Play, it then loads the full track. Then I click Play again and the track finally plays. Three clicks to get the track to play.

I am seeing this behavior outside my app on any embed across the web.

Any ideas?
