As a dedicated user of Spotify, I would like to share some suggestions to enhance the auto song suggestion feature, drawing inspiration from the effective methods used by platforms like YouTube Music.

1. Improved Personalization through User Input

• User Preferences: Allow users to specify their mood, activity, or genre preferences directly. This could be implemented through a simple interface where users can select options like "working out," "relaxing," or "party."

• Feedback Mechanism: Introduce a feedback system where users can rate song suggestions. This data can be used to refine future recommendations, making them more aligned with user tastes.

2. Enhanced Collaborative Filtering

• Social Listening: Implement features that allow users to see what their friends are listening to in real-time. This could create a more community-driven experience and provide suggestions based on friends' listening habits.

• Group Playlists: Allow users to create collaborative playlists with friends, where the algorithm suggests songs based on the collective listening history of the group.

3. Contextual Recommendations

• Time and Location Awareness: Utilize data such as the time of day or the user’s location to suggest songs that fit the context. For example, upbeat tracks for morning commutes or calming music for late-night relaxation.
