Innovative proposal for Spotify - Potential collaboration under confidentiality agreement

Innovative proposal for Spotify - Potential collaboration under confidentiality agreement

Dear Spotify Team,

I'm Luca Scarfò, I developed a unique idea that could revolutionize the daily use experience. My proposal involves the introduction of an innovative feature within Spotify that allows users to access an Alarm Clock and/or Timer. At the end of the countdown, the app would play a song chosen from its library, with the ability to select a specific fragment of the song (for example, 15 seconds, in Instagram 'stories' style).

I kindly ask you to formalize a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect intellectual property, as standard practice in these cases.

Because this proposal is advantageous for Spotify:

▶️ Increased user retention and engagement: a feature that combines music with everyday moments (such as waking up or timer) promotes more frequent and personalized use of the platform.

🔍 New revenue stream and greater use of the music library: the possibility of customizing alarms/timers can open up opportunities for collaborations with brands and promotional campaigns, thus increasing the value of the time spent on the platform and encouraging the discovery of new songs.

**Request for compensation in case of use**:

If the concept is implemented, I request a compensation of **100 000€** in shares (equivalent to the cost of my airline pilot license at Turin Flying School, guaranteeing transparency on the use of funds. I am open to flexible alternative forms of partnership

**Previorative legal note (art. 2598 c.c.) **:

In compliance with EU legislation on the protection of unpatented creative ideas (Dir. 2004/48/EC), it is recalled that the unauthorized use of the concept - if attributable to this proposal - would constitute **the illicit competition*
