My Question or Issue

I am working with my developer to install a widget on my website. I have a personal Spotify account. I'd like to know if I can set up playlists and customize the widget for my professional website using my personal account.

Here is an example of what I'd like it to look like: https://www.blackmusicproject.com/artists/chuck-berry

Hi there @BWD3

Thank you for asking this in the Community and Welcome!

The widget you can see at that page is called an Embedded players - Spotify.

The easiest way to get the HTML code for an Embed is to use a desktop. It does not matter if you use the desktop app or the website.

Here are some steps you can follow:

  1. Go to the artist profile, album, song, playlist, or podcast you want to share and click next to it.
Tip: You can also right-click it.
  2. Select Share.
  3. Select Embed.
  4. At the popup screen, you can choose between a cover-color-based background color, or black. You can also change the size.
  5. After you have clicked Copy, you can past the HTML code into the HTML of your webpage.

There is also a more advanced way. For that, I refer you to this guide.

I hope this answers your questions. If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

Cheers!
