My Question or Issue
Hey Spotify team! My company submitted an app through the developer dashboard

I reached out to customer support some time ago and they told me the review process should take ~4 weeks. It has now been some months since our initial submission. 

I completely understand that these things take time, my team and I are trying to be as patient as possible. However our business heavily relies the release of our app and getting it in the hands of users so we can begin to market it. 

Our app is incredibly simple and I'm starting to wonder if our review simply fell through the cracks? The status has said "In review - undecided" for some time now and I'm wondering if that means someone opened it but hasn't completed the process. 

If there is anyone who can help shed some light on the subject we would be sincerely appreciative!

This review process can take up to six weeks. (Source)

Also, you can read: "We will process your request within six weeks but it may take longer during peak periods." above the Start button of the Extension Request tab, before applying for one:

P.S. I've seen a post/comment of someone who's waiting for seven weeks already.

Thanks Ximzend I must have missed that! I believe ours is approaching 8 weeks now. Hopefully that means it must be getting close! 

I’ve entered my 7th week for my app review and haven’t seen a response. Since many developers are facing this issue, it would be nice for Spotify to come up with an updated timelines or acknowledge the backlog to reassure everyone who is waiting for a decision. 

Absolutely, something as simple as an updated banner on the extensions page. Or potentially a "your spot in queue 475" would be really nice.

Got this update today from Spotify. Anyone else also got an update?
