Hi - I'm an incoming assistant professor at Stanford School of Medicine working on music and health.  I am trying to get in touch with someone from the Spotify leadership team to discuss potential collaboration/access to recently deprecated features of the API, primarily similarity recommendations, acoustic features, and 30s track excerpts for feedback. We are developing a variety of approaches to therapeutic listening against anxiety and depression. This is for research purposes only. I have a very similar API use-case for academic research - pulling audio features to study their relation to cognition. I hope they respond to this.
