Who can I ask for details about Spotify branding requirements in our App ?

Who can I ask for details about Spotify branding requirements in our App ?

Hello friends 😃

At Spotify, branding is very important.  Even the forum is on-brand 😄

We're working on a small app for our music magazine.  It's mainly long-form writing about music.  We are interested in making sure our Spotify integration is savory and welcomed by the Spotify powers that be.  Is there a specific e-mail we can dialogue with, or do you recommend posting here?  Due to the sensitive nature of our app designs, we would prefer a private channel, but also want to make sure we are on-point with branding, not interfering / stepping on toes with the subscription offerings, and fully compatible with the Spotify platform.  Very important that we are compatible long into the future because allowing our users to connect to Spotify will emphatically enrich their experience.

....  Is there a specific e-mail we can dialogue with?

Hi @sylvesta

Thanks for asking in the Community, and welcome!

You can find this information at the Design & Branding Guidelines page, and the contact information at the bottom, just under Fonts.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have other questions.

Cheers,

Thanks but I really need a Spotify employee I can confirm this with.  I can read 😉 and have seen the branding page.  I am more interested in making extra features in our application available to Spotify Premium users.  This only helps Spotify increase their value proposition, to which I think they would be only delighted.

So this is not what you are looking for:

"If you are having trouble with anything in this guide, you are missing brand elements from the brand package, or you are unsure if your communication best represents the Spotify brand, please contact the Spotify brand approval team at brandapproval@spotify.com"

I don't want to e-mail someone, I want to discuss the brand guidelines in public / clear-text with an employee.  Which is why I posted here.  If the guidelines are the same for everyone, then it should follow that a public discussion is the best way to get the proper wording out there.
