3 month free premium trial won't show up

Hey there,

I'm new to Spotify. I received a code for a 3 month free premium trial from Microsoft rewards. I created a Spotify account (used the "use google account" option) and then activated the trial. The payment method I used was SOFORT. Everything went through fine and I received a receipt via email that confirms the trial.

However, my Spotify account still shows as free. I tried several things I found on this board but it won't change.

I also tried to use the code again but it seems to be used up now and cannot be used again.

What can I do?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

If you've had Premium on your account before or if the payment method you used was used for Spotify in the past (e.g. by a family member or friend), you're not eligible for the trial. In the second case, you could try using a different payment method when there is another offer like this.
