Account Changes

Hello, I am not sure how this works as I would assume it would be appropriate to handle a constomer service issue personally through an agent, however, I have been a "premium spotify" user for the past six months. Recently (August 4th 2017) my account has had some changes made without my knowledge. I was downgraded out of no where in the middle of my billing cycle. As you can imagine I was quite surpised that something I have paid for was now telling me I had to start a new premium account. I pay my spotify subscription right through my Fido bill so they were unable to justify any changes either and had directed me to contact the source (Spotify) directly. I began services in January 2017, enjoyed my free 3 months and then began paying for it since I enjoyed it so much. On the 4th I noticed that I was beginning to hear ads which is unusual because I pay for the premium service. Anyways, I would like some answers if somebody could please help me.
