CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? MY SPOTIFY PREMIUM REDEEM CODE ISN'T WORKING

Last night I went and purchased a $10 Spotify Premium gift card from the grocery store as I usually do when my premium is coming to an end for the month. So I then went home, scratched off the grey covering over the code, and went to the Spotify redeem website on Safari, and typed in the code as usual. But instead of it going through, a red message appeared above and read "Something went wrong. Try again, or get help," which was odd because I typed it in exactly as it was written on the card. To make a long story short, I've been trying since last night and I'd hate to waste $10 for nothing just to buy another one that actually works. 

Is there any way this can be fixed? This is beyond annoying.

I've already been to that page and read everything. All of that doesn't seem to apply to me. I even called the store about it. The code still isn't working.

Thanks for getting back to us! 

Have you tried redeeming the card i an Incognito Window? 

Besides that, has the store confirmed it's been activated successfully? 

P.S: It's best to try redeeming it on a Desktop device.
