Hey @Ankush7703,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The promotion you're mentioning is a trial subscription available for users who haven't had Premium before. If you're eligible for the promo, you'll get 3 months of Premium for 59 INR. You can apply for the trial here. After the trial period, you'll be automatically subscribed to the regular monthly subscription.

If you don't want to pay the monthly charge after the promo, you must cancel it before the end of the trial.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.

My Question or Issue

Hey @yatin0264,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, you've not provided a whole lot of info to work with.

Could you please provide some more details on what you're trying to do exactly? For example, are you trying to claim an offer? If so, do you have a screenshot of it?

Have you ever had Premium before? Does the offer appear within your account? Are there any disclaimers/terms visible on the offer page?

Let me know! 🙂

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

same, i think it's just for enabling the autopay of 119 and will deduct only 59
maybe i am not sure, that's why i stopped too.

As per the offer the 3 mon individual plan was 59 , but when I try to buy it , the Spotify req 119 in GPay rather than 59, so the amt 59 only be deducted or it will be 119 in my first payment

i am also facing same issue i am fresh user try to buy plan of 59 rupays but at the timeof payment it showing 119

Steps :-

1 open app

2 go to premium

3 select 59 plan  ( click on get premium individual )

4 showing payment preview page continue with spotify

5 add state click on pay by any upi

6 paste the upi id and continue with purchase

7 click on continue on that page showing 59 total

8 one text msg is coming and phone pay notification showing there 119 to pay

Hey folks,

Thanks for your replies.

We can confirm that this is expected - the amount of ₹119 requested is the transaction limit, however, only ₹59 will be deducted. The idea of this is to prevent the need for a second payment authorization when your trial expires and your subscription rolls into a regular one at the price of ₹119 per month.

As with any other trial offer, you can cancel any time using the steps outlined here.

We hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

hi, when I accept autopay and go to pay, it still shows 119 although I havent previously subscribed to spotify. what to do about that?

Mai plan set karte hai 59 ka 3 months ka magar ata hai 119 paid karne ko

Faced the same issue and asked for help to the customer care. Changing the payment option solved the issue. I was trying to pay with UPI which led to this issue but changing the payment option to debit/ credit card solved it.

So after 3 months if I cancel I will get back 119-59

Hi @Christ01,

Thanks for reaching out.

Cancelling a subscription won't automatically refund already processed payments, it will only stop new ones from being created. To be certain on what happens and to request any refunds if necessary, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.

Hope this helps.

Why I'm getting charged an initial payment of ₹119 for my individual premium plan of ₹59 for 3 months?

The app showed rs 59 for premium worth 119 but when i payed the money 119rs got cut. It was a 3 month plan

Just buy a Google play gift card of 59 rs and pay through it
