Can't add partner to Duo

Can't add partner to Duo

Partner and I are living together and wish to be on the same Duo plan. We currently have our own Premium plans. After switching my plan to Duo, I invited my partner but when Partner enters in our home address that was set, an error was received saying it is the wrong address. We have tried accessing the invite link with a different browser but received the same result. Please help.

 

Note: My billing address is an US address while my partner's is in Canada . We are currently living in Canada but I am still using the same billing information.

Welcome to Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

If the country set for your account is the US and your partner's account is set for Canada, unfortunately, you won't be able to validate the address to start a Duo plan together. In this specific case, the most recommendable is that you change the payment method to a new one that is issued in the same country you're currently living in, you also need to change the country setting for your account and finally, you'll be able to start a new Duo plan and invite your partner normally.
