Can't change to Basic Individual plan

Can't change to Basic Individual plan

I see spotify basic plans listed here: https://support.spotify.com/us/article/spotify-basic/

But I cannot select them. I do not listen to audio books and will not be paying for them.

Are you currently on the Premium Individual plan, and if so, when did your current subscription start? 🙂

I had been a premium individual subscriber since 2016 or so, hence my 'eight year' profile badge. Thanks for that, Spotify. But no, yesterday I was on the 'Basic Duo plan'. When the other member of the duo plan decided they didn't want to pay anymore, I tried to switch to 'Basic Individual'. Apparently, you can only switch to 'Basic Individual' if you've been on 'Premium Individual' before some date.

Anyway, I canceled my Spotify subscription. I don't need to be battling predatory pricing plans like I already have to do for my internet provider. Greed is so pervasive these days.
