Can't log in with un and pw

Extremely frustrated! My wife pays for Spotify for our house. We typically don't listen at the same time so it works great for us. I can log in with her username and password on my computer and on the stand alone app on my phone WITH a username and password. (We have reset it multiple times trying to figure this out.) This was linked through Facebook before but now we have the correct email and pw to log in on her phone my phone and on the site online. I CAN NOT link my Google home to Spotify (I can cast through the app) no matter what I try. Everytime I enter the un and pw it comes back as invalid. This is the exact same un and pw that works on every other platform. I try logging in through Facebook and it will only allow me to login under MY Facebook under my free account. No matter what I try I can not log in under her FB or un and pw. I've tried EVERYTHING!!!!!! I've logged out of my Facebook cometely and told it to forget my password (still I am logged in to my FB via Google home) I tried adding an account to my Google home (her email) and I then have no option to link Spotify to the Google home. I used her phone to DL the Google home app to link her phone/account to the home. This linked at some point but not in all reality. I turned her phone off to see if it was just casting and as soon as her phone was off the Google home told me I had no account linked. **bleep**!?!? WHY???? The un and pw work everywhere else but when typed in to link the Google home w Spotify it says the password and login aren't correct. BAFFLED! PLEASE FIX!

Zero communication from Spotify. I have not found a way around this. I'm
logged in on my phone and can cast locally from there but still can't login
with Google home.
